The skills that I wish to display when I first arrive to my internship are my want to learn new thing in a short period of time. I want the employer to see me as someone who is teachable. I might not walk in with all the skills that are expected of me but I want them to know that I’m willing work hard enough so that I can master the skill better than anyone else in the department. One question that I have lingering on my mind as I approach internship would be will I be working independently or with others for the majority of time. I really want to know this because I have to mentally prepare myself for whichever is given to me. I know that I can adapt to whichever is put in front of me but I still would like to know. I hope to work in an environment that I‘ve never experienced before. I want everything to be new so that I have a chance to learn so many new things. Of course I want everyone to be exceptionally friendly and kind. I still want everyone to be very conservative as to keep me up on my toes at all times. I don’t currently have any anxieties about internship except for wanting to make the best impression possible. I fear that I will lack the ability to perform the tasks set out for me for some reason. I know I can do these things; I just need to build confidence and be ready for whatever comes my way.
